FLDtrace Name

Like any story, let’s start from the beginning. At first, you may wonder where the name FLDtrace originates.

Well, FLD comes from the initials of my name Florian Lucian Dorin. In Romania, it is customary to introduce oneself with the last name first followed by one’s first and middle names. Weird from both viewpoints, but that’s the way it is. If we take the archaic meaning, TRACE is: a course or path that one follows.

I wanted to create a name that is unique, yet meaningful. And now I am blessed with a one-of-a- kind name on the internet.

FLDtrace Location

I currently reside in Seattle, WA/Charlotte, NC. However, as a freelance web developer, I travel frequently throughout the USA.

Originally I am coming from Romania. If you are interested in learning more about Romania, please check out the website ileanda.ro. I created this website a while ago as a resource for those interested in learning more about the northeastern region of Romania.

What I do

I do Freelance Web Design and Development. With experience in developing websites since 2005, I work with my clients to achieve the best web designs for their individual needs.

What began as a hobby I entertained in my free time, has become a full time business. My longtime passion for the internet led me to become involved in web design and development. I was able to achieve my dream after I came to the United States, a great country, where technology is at home.

The upside of freelancing is that I create my own schedule. I don’t have to wake up at 6 a.m. to get to work and waste time in traffic. As a result, I have more time to dedicate to the work itself.

I offer high quality services and remain consistent in my work. I truly care about the work I do. I can spend 12 hours on the computer and still retain the original passion I first time had for a project. Unusual, I know, but that’s why I call it passion.

Hobbies

Web design consumes most of my time, but in my free time, I enjoy outdoors and traveling, practicing sports and taking dance lessons, trying to exercise as much as I can.

Did you know in Latin “Sit mens sana in corpore sano” means “A healthy mind in a healthy body”? I have just revealed my secret, which allows me to spend 12 hours straight on the computer.
