Hi, my name is Lucian Florian and I build websites. See below my specialization and my story.

Specialization

  • I specialize in HTML 5 / CSS3 / jQuery
  • I use WordPress for Blogs, CMS and basic Ecommerce websites
  • I build complex Ecommerce sites using Lemonstand shopping cart. I can also work with a shopping cart of your choice such as Shopify, Volusion, BigCommerce etc.
  • I design using Photoshop CS5 however I bring on my projects graphic design partners, that way I can focus on development
  • All the sites I build implement basic Search Engine Optimization which is included in the project price

Background

I do Freelance Web Design and Development. With experience in developing websites professionally since 2009, I work with my clients to achieve the best web designs for their individual needs.

What began as a hobby I entertained in my free time, has become a full time business. My longtime passion for the internet led me to become involved in web design and development. I was able to achieve my dream after I came to the United States, a great country, where technology is at home.

The upside of freelancing is that I create my own schedule. I don’t have to wake up at 6 a.m. to get to work and waste time in traffic. As a result, I have more time to dedicate to the work itself.

The Name/Location

FLDtrace Name

At first, you may wonder where the name FLDtrace originates.

FLD comes from the initials of my name Florian Lucian Dorin. In Romania, the place I am coming from, it is customary to introduce oneself with the last name first followed by one’s first and middle names. Weird from both viewpoints, but that’s the way it is. If we take the archaic meaning, TRACE is: a course or path that one follows.

I wanted to create a name that is unique, yet meaningful. And now I am blessed with a one-of-a- kind name on the internet.

Location

I currently reside in Bellevue, WA Charlotte, NC. However, as a freelance web developer, I travel frequently throughout the USA.

Hobbies

Web design consumes most of my time, but in my free time, I enjoy outdoors and traveling, playing ping-pong, Latino dancing, trying to exercise and socialize as much as I can.

Did you know in Latin “Sit mens sana in corpore sano” means “A healthy mind in a healthy body”? With so much exercising, spending 10 hours straight on a chair does not seems that hard anymore.
