Mari Harsan Studios is an award-winning wedding photography and videography studio in the Washington DC area sought after in Washington DC and abroad for their artistic, cinematic wedding photography and films.
The Mari Harsan Studios website was dated and not optimized for mobile devices. It was not optimized for SEO so it didn’t show up in local search results. And it didn’t connect with the client’s target audience.
We decided to go with a timeless modern design. White space was used to better highlight the clients’ award-winning photography. We did use a little color, however: To make the site more appealing to brides, we used pink for branding.
The site performance was slowed by the many images necessary to a portfolio site like this. We opted for a custom WordPress theme to maximize the speed. The solution we implemented also allows the client to easily add more images and make adjustments to the content.
Using keyword research and other SEO tactics, we were able to boost this site to the number one position in local search results for “Washington DC wedding videographer.” As a result, the client’s business is booming and they are fully booked.
We are extremely happy with the outcome of our new site and the working relationship with Lucian. We would recommend him to anyone who want’s to invest in their future business and actually get their $ worth.
